WSDP is the student-operated radio station owned by the Plymouth-Canton Educational Park in Canton, Michigan. WSDP positions itself as 88.1 FM the Escape. WSDP is operated out of Salem High School and has been in operation since February 14, 1972. The station's current manager is Bill Keith (1991-present).

"88.1 The Escape" specializes in playing independent alternative rock artists not played on any mainstream commercial station in the area. Special programs heard on WSDP showcase classic rock, electronica, jazz, blues, contemporary Christian and other musical genres. The station also serves the Plymouth-Canton area with local news and information and high school sports broadcasts. One highlight of the WSDP schedule is "Lemonade," a jazz/talk program aimed at active senior citizens.
 

The station has been named high school station of the year by the Michigan Association of Broadcasters, 3 of the last 5 years.  88.1FM has received similar honors from the Michigan Association of Educational Broadcasters.

The Escapes broadcast signal effectively reaches a primary target audience of over 100,000 people in Canton, Plymouth and Plymouth Township. The station is on-air 24 hours per day 7 days a week.Funding for 88.1FM is provided by the Plymouth-Canton Community Schools. The station has also developed an extensive fundraising program to supplement the funds provided by the district.
