Each year, 88.1 FM holds an annual auction fundraiser for the station. The items are amazing, as well as our sponsors. Last year's Auction 88.1 FM brought in over $9,000. Thanks to everyone who helped us out!

The 2009 88.1FM Radio Auction was a success. Thanks to generous businesses and our listeners we were able to raise nearly $10,000.
WSDP is looking for sponsors for this year's auction. We have a variety of sponsorship levels that provide a great way to reach our listeners. E-mail WSDPTheEscape@yahoo.com for more information or call 734-416-7732.
Area businesses still have time to support the student radio station by donating an item. Station volunteers are contacting businesses for donations. Businesses benefit from the exposure they receive while the item is up for bid. Most importantly they help a very worthwhile program.
“The generosity of Plymouth-Canton businesses is overwhelming,” said Bill Keith, Station Manager, “They receive so many requests for donations and each year they're willing to help us. We're so thankful for the support we receive.”
Local residents can also support the auction. Their employer may have access to tickets or suites at local concerts or sporting events and they may be willing to donate them to the station. “My dream is that someone is a friend with Joe Dumars or Nate Robertson and they can convince them to have dinner with one of our high bidders,” said Keith.
WSDP is owned and operated by the Plymouth-Canton Community Schools. The station has been serving the community since February 14, 1972.
